Temperatures are [usually] moderate, ingredients are easy to work with, and lighter refreshing styles are perfect for the season ahead. Great Beer Styles for Spring

As the weather warms up, many brewers shift toward beers that are bright, refreshing, and easy to enjoy outside. Spring is a perfect time to brew styles that showcase yeast character and subtle malt complexity.

Some excellent spring brewing styles include:

  • Saison

  • Belgian Golden Strong

  • Kölsch

  • American Wheat

These styles tend to ferment well in moderate temperatures and reward good fermentation technique.
