To upgrade your brew system, and make your life easier, thread these QD’s on your kettle, mash-tun, pump and chiller! When used with the male QD, they seal up very well in either flow direction. They will save you time and prevent messes. Just get several silicone hoses of various lengths and put barbed male fittings on either end. Then use them wherever you need to in your system! They are so much easier to use than pushing and pulling the hoses off of barbs. It makes things interchangeable for cleaning, and provides quick installation and removal.
There’s no need to put in a lot of work connecting when using this FPT Stainless Steel Female Quick Disconnect with the male QD, as they seal-up quickly. Features a 1/2″ Male National Pipe Thread on the outer ends that offers easy connectivity to just about anything.
The quick disconnect will hold pressure for most brewing applications if you plan on moving liquids at 60psi or less. 1/2″ ID. Take note this is an open port model with no shut-off.
Made from 304 stainless steel.
