Gunpowder Tea, also known as Pearl Tea, was created in China and has a delightfully sweet taste and balanced caffeine content. It’s well known for making Jun Tea, or Green Tea Kombucha.

• To enjoy as a cup of tea: steep 1 tsp of tea in boiling hot water for 3-5 minutes. Add milk and sugar if desired.
• To brew for kombucha: Use 2 TBSP tea per gallon of kombucha, Steep for a minimum of 10 minutes in about 2 cups of hot water. Then, dilute with cool water until it reaches room temperature before pitching your culture.
